Now franchising
Own the modern DMV in your market.
Private DMV services are one of America's most underserved retail categories. We're awarding founding territories now — with the brand, playbook, and tech to win.
The opportunity
Underserved demand. Recession-resistant traffic.
Almost every adult must transact with the DMV multiple times a year. The wait is the same complaint across all 50 states. Almost no national brand exists in the space.

Proven beyond Fairbanks
Built in Alaska. Pressure-tested across the state.
Turbo Tags & Titles opened in Fairbanks in February 2021 as a state-certified alternative to the Alaska DMV. Within a year we were the local default — adding title and registration runs at vehicle auctions, then road testing in our own insured vehicle, then passports, CDL, TSA PreCheck, TWIC and more.
When REAL ID became urgent, we built a mobile REAL ID service and brought it to 17+ Alaska communities. The City of Dutch Harbor hired us to run DMV services on-site for months. That's when the model proved it could travel — and the franchise playbook was born.
- 17+ Alaska communities served by mobile REAL ID
- Multi-month contract operating DMV services for the City of Dutch Harbor
- Repeatable services: titles, registration, REAL ID, road tests, CDL, passports, TSA PreCheck, driver's ed

Common questions
Answered before your discovery call.
- How much capital do I need to open a Turbo Tags franchise?
- Most operators are funded between $150K and $400K depending on market size, real estate, and build-out. Full unit-economics figures, item-by-item startup costs, and FDD details are shared during discovery.
- What is the franchise fee?
- Our initial franchise fee is $30,000 for a single territory. Multi-unit and territory-development packages are available for qualified operators.
- What ongoing fees should I expect?
- A 6% royalty on gross revenue and a 2% marketing fund contribution. Both are reinvested into platform, training, and brand demand-generation.
- Do you offer financing or have lender relationships?
- Turbo Tags does not lend directly, but we maintain relationships with SBA-preferred lenders and ROBS providers who are familiar with our model. We'll introduce you to lenders during qualification.
- Do I need DMV experience?
- No. The majority of our operators have never worked in the DMV space. We teach the transactions; you bring leadership and customer-service instincts.
- What does a typical day look like?
- A blend of in-store transactions (titles, registration, REAL ID, road tests), staff coaching, light marketing, and community presence. Most operators work front-of-house during launch and shift to leadership over the first 6–12 months.
